Program Summary The Accounting Diploma program provides students with a solid foundation of current accounting practices. Students will learn both manual and computerized accounting and computer applications. Our curriculum delivery combines instructor led lectures and computer based learning and supports active learning strategies by using case studies to demonstrate the connection between theory and practice. Evaluation methods include written and practical examinations as well as computer based projects and assignments. Our dedicated instructors are qualified and experienced Accounting professionals. Career Description: Accounting and related clerks calculate, prepare and process bills, invoices, accounts payable and receivable, budgets and other financial records according to established procedures.1 Industry relevant transferable skills include attention to detail; organizational skills; problem solving; critical thinking; mathematical aptitude; communication; computer and typing skills..
