The Gas Fitter Level 3 training program uses official TSSA curriculum and is offered at our Toronto and Mississauga campuses. This program prepares students for the TSSA (Technical Standards and Safety Authority) G3 licensing examination. The Gas Fitter Level 3 program is 10 weeks in length and is delivered via lectures and practical hands-on workshops. Evaluation techniques involve written and practical tests, and assignments.
As an added benefit, Stanford International College is a licensed TSSA examination centre for the G3 licensing examinations.
Our Gas Fitter Level 3 Certificate program is delivered by our dedicated instructors who are certified Gas Fitters experienced in both teaching and working in the Gas Technician field.

Career Description:
Under the supervision of a licensed Gas Fitter 2, Gas Fitters Level 3 perform some of all of the following duties: install, inspect, repair and maintain gas lines and gas equipment such as meters, regulators, heating units and appliances in residential, commercial and industrial establishments.1 G3's are employed by gas utility companies and gas servicing companies. Industry relevant transferable skills include customer service; attention to detail; excellent communication skills; self direction; flexibility and a valid driver’s license.

Employment Opportunities and Related Job Positions
Graduates must successfully complete the TSSA G3 licensing examinations to be eligible to work as a licensed G3. Opportunities may be found with companies that install/service/repair gas appliances or with gas utility companies. Licensed graduates of the Gas Fitter Level 3 Certificate Program may apply for positions as a:

- An Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or
- Students are 18 years of age or older and pass the program entrance examination
